Game Design Experience
My best source of game design experience originates from learning how to program through Unity and Unreal Engine. This will display my continuous growth in coding, images of games and levels that I have worked on, and video footage of the projects that proved to be the most successful. I also included my first taste in 3D modeling using software such as Blender and 3DS Max. For my independent projects, mainly those made through Unity Engine, some of the assets or music I used were downloaded from OpenGameArt.org
01
Dirt Track Derby (2023)
. Using Unreal Engine, this was one of my first attempts at making a level designed in the game engine.
. Through editing its landscape, I designed the level into a mountainous race track that has you scale massive cliffs and avoiding treacherous debris.
02
Otis and The Elements (2022)
. A collaboration through Unity Engine
. The goal of this 2D platformer is to traverse the map and reach the end of the level.
. This project served as a display of my artistic involvement with game design as the background and inanimate objects in the level were personally hand drawn and were applied individually throughout the game's map.

03
Blast-Walljump (2023)
. Run and Jump your way to victory in this 3D Platformer made in Unreal Engine.
. This game project was a collaboration between myself and 5 other game designers. I played a key role in creating the first level where you scale massive platforms and ruins inside of an active volcano.
04
3D Model Experience (2023)
. These were created through 3DS Max and Blender and served as my first taste of painting and texturing 3D models
. The streetlight was modeled by myself, though the image of the bushes and bench were made by a fellow classmate.
. The UV templates of the models, including the dog mage were made through Adobe Photoshop and applied through 3DS Max. Each of them were made for their respective projects.

05
GMU Blastmaster Battle (2023)
. This group project was a collaboration between myself an entire course full of rising game designers, where you blast your competition to bits in a Bomberman style multiplayer game.
. My key contribution was in the world design in the game's background. This served as the outlet for my growing experience in creating textures and designs for 3D assets using both 3DS Max, Photoshop, and Blender. Most of my work was designated to aiding in the creation of the foliage of the garden surrounding this stage.

06
Journey to the Lost Forest (2025)
. This is a 3D designed environment themed after a medieval town. While you start in the village, its forest is forbidden. An abandoned castle, ancient ruins, hidden magical artifacts, & a never-ending fog to top it all off. Each of the models were made in 3D using 3DS Max, before placing them into the environment and terrain made in Unity Engine.
